Adebayor loses appeal
27 February 2007Arsenal lost their appeal against the red card Emmanuel Adebayor received in the Carling Cup Final. Typical of the English FA not to rescind the booking despite the fact that the young man was shown a card in a case of mistaken identity although that seems a bit strange considering the fact that he is much taller than the real culprit who should have been carded Emmanuel Ebuoe and definitely has more hair on his head than him. Aaaaaaah I forget that they are both Black Africans so that is how the referee and his assistant must have gotten it inexplicably wrong. Anyway the young man now stands to miss three matches as his appeal fell through
