Adebayor’s additional suspension

11 March 2007

The FA found Emmanuel Adebayor guilty of reacting aggressively and failing to leave the field of play immediately during Arsenal’s ill fated Carling Cup final match against Chelsea. While carrying out the sentencing, the FA took into consideration Adebayor’s playing record and mitigating circumstances.

What mitigating circumstances? ( oh i forgot, the circumstance where he was wrongly awarded a red card which he should never have got in the first place).

He now gets an additional one match suspension and gets to pay a fine of £7,500. I wonder what the FA does with all the money it makes from fines, cards and matches. At this rate they should be listed on the stock exchange market.
