Arsenal receive £100,000 fine

29 March 2007

Arsenal and Chelsea have each been fined £100,000 by the FA for the actions of their players during the ill fated Carling Cup Final clash when the players got involved in a mass brawl. The two teams have been found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute. Now thats a very massive fine for both clubs especially when you take into consideration that both teams have had individuals fined for their actions. Well the FA needs to start recouping some of the money it has spent on self funding the all New Wembley Stadium.
