Arsenal v PSV Eindhoven
4 March 2007The Gunners host PSV Eindhoven this Wednesday 7th of March 2007 at The Emirates Stadium in the second leg of The Champions League. The Dutch team won the first leg 1-0 in Holland and Ronald Koeman and his boys hope to advance to the next stage of the competition at the expense of The Gunners.
The return of their marksman J. Farfan who missed the first leg due to an injury and who showed his scoring prowess by scoring in the third minute in a league match against RKC Waalwijk is a boost for the team from The Netherlands. Thierry Henry’s chances of being fit for the match has been described as 50-50 by Arsene Wenger.
Tomas Rosiky is definitely ruled out due to a groin injury, Robin van Pierse remains out due to his broken metartasal, Eboue has a foot injury, Flamini also has a foot injury. Cheer up though fellow Gooners it is not all bad. Fortunately, Adebayor and Kolo Toure are going to feature in the match.
Expect PSV to put all its men behind the ball. This is a big test for The Arsenal but I believe we will overcome it.
Predictions: 3-1 in favour of Arsenal
