Arsenal v Reading

2 March 2007

The Royals are hoping to mete out a fourth consecutive loss to The Arsenal. After losing in the Champions League to PSV Eindhoven in Holland, The Carling Cup Final to Chelsea in The Millenium Stadium and the FA Cup fifth round replay in Ewood Park to Blackburn Rovers; all by a one goal margin, and with injuries to key players coupled with match suspensions, people may want to believe that moral in Arsenal’s camp will be low.

Believe that at your peril. Arsene Wenger and Arsenal have not been so successful in English football because they dwell on lost games. We have a Premiership game in the Emirates and we plan to keep our unbeaten streak in our home ground going. Reading’s tenacity will not see them through. A wounded lion is definitely a dangerous lion. We are roaring to go.
