Carling Cup fallout

27 February 2007

Arsenal and Chelsea have been charged for violent conduct following the fallout of the melee in added time of their Carling Cup clash. Emmanuel Eboue has been charged with striking Wayne Bridge who made a meal of the blow on the back of his head by dropping to the ground as if pole axed.

Emmanuel Adebayor faces disciplinary action for his aggression and refusal to leave the field of play in a peaceful and sheepish obedient manner when he was wrongly shown the red card for an offence commited by Eboue. There is no excuse for the referee and his assistant getting that one wrong because they came to that decision after conferring with each other…………….

The two clubs are also charged with failing to control their players and ironically Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho who came unto the field of play to try and do just that (control their players) have been reminded that on no circumcstances should they get unto the field hmmmmmmmmmm very strange indeed.

Emmanuel Eboue has until 6 0′clock tomorrow evening to appeal or defend the charge while Emmanuel Adebayor waits to see if his red card will be rescinded ( I very much doubt that. The FA has a history of funny decisions). The two clubs have two weeks to answer to these charges
