Fresh injury worries for Henry
9 March 2007Henry limped out of the field after the game against PSV Eindhoven in the Emirates Stadium where The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw effectively sealing their exit out of The Champions League with a 2-1 goal aggregate in favour of the Dutch side.
Wenger fears that Henry has torn his groin and stomach muscles and thus face a lenghty absence. This is quite unfortunate but i feel Henry was not even fit enough to take any part in that match and should have been rested.
It confounds me why he was brought in for Julio Baptista who was definitely making all the right noises on the field and asking the defence of the Dutdh team some questions. Well maybe Arsene will finally be eble to let Henry have the necessary rest he needs with which to recuperate.
