Julio Baptista - a revelation Totenham 2 - Arsenal 2
24 January 2007Julio Baptista has finally found his scoring boots for Arsenal. He is making the Carling Cup his own personal stadia from which to shut up his critics. The Brazilian who is on player exchange from Real Madrid keeps on putting up superlative performances. He overcame an early setback from an own goal which gave Spurs a second goal and a somewhat goal cushion to score two goals to make the “Gunners” North London rivals squirm in their pants. Spurs home advantage at White Hart Lane in the Carling Cup Semi-final first leg match was not taken advantage of. Martin Jol’s men have to visit the Emirates and hope to scale through to the final by beating “The Arsenal” in their home stadium. I do not fancy their chances. The final will definitely be Arsenal v Chelsea.
