Wenger still in shock
12 March 2007Arsene Wenger is still lost for words and in shock after a series of loses left The Gunners out of contention for any silverware this season. About three weeks ago, Arsenal were on track and in contention for at least three season titles.
In a calamitous period, we lost out to Chelsea in th Carling Cup Final, lost to Blackburn in an FA Cup fifth-round replay and drew with PSV Eindhoven 1-1 at the Emirates in the Champions League to bring aggregate scores to 2-1 in favour of the Dutch side.
This period of bad results is just a phase Wenger. We are all behind you as we know you are building a team for the future. Keep your lads strong and focused do we get at least a fourth place finish to guarantee a Champions League place for next season.
